Hi folks, does anyone own a deer larder, storage shed or other forestry building where the local council has assessed it to determine its rateable value as a non-domestic building (business rates)? I presume the value would be low - and well below the small business relief value of £12,000 where no rates are payable? I believe stalking rights may also be rateable? Any experience out there on these issues? I’d like to know any potential liability if buying a shed with a bit of land?
