read receipt ?

I send someone a pm and they respond and I then know they received it, however I recall on another forum not connected with deer/shooting there was a "request read receipt" box that when ticked let you know the exact time your message had been both received and read, I have looked here but cant find any such feature, Is it possible perhaps.
I can see when someone is online but have no idea why they don't answer, odd as I just want to give them cash for items they have.

I believe it’s not possible using core software currently, but there are a few Add-ons that may work. I’ll have a look...
