As long as both rifles have picatinny rails and you mark the position before taking the scope off, and replace it to the same place you should have no issues.
But I too would like to know of someone doing it before shelling out the cash. Though if you can pick up a second hand mount the test is fairly easy to run and if it does not work, sell the mount on

On a side note I use an American Defence one piece QD between a Contessa on the .243 and a Brittania on the T1X and have to adjust the mount clamp adjusting nuts between swap overs as they are slightly different width but luckily it doesn't affect POI
The rail specification differs between manufacturers. As already highlighted the quick release leaver may need adjustment between them. Given the need to make these adjustments in my experience it is easier to use a mount that used a traditional bolts.
Quick release is useful in certain situations such as if the scope brakes in the field and you can use iron sights. But swapping from rifle to rifle this can be done in a controlled environment. Plus it will save a few £££ for essentially the same product.
I use a tier one on my day scope and spuhr on my night scope. No loss of zero on either.
