Recoil pad for sako 75

Glasgow Fieldsports has them for the 85, Don't know if that would fit ? The red one on my ancient Sako became very hard and slippery. Fed up with roughing it up with a bit of 40grit abrasive I just swapped it for a nice grippy one from the local gunshop (sold for shotguns and 'trim-to-size').
To try and replace with a genuine Sako might prove (a) impossible (if not available) or (b) a pretty costly exercise.
I have the opinion of "It's my rifle and I'm not looking to sell it, but use it. If I want different recoil pad, I'll have one, and if I want a bit of velcro glued to the fore-end to take a rat-tail switch for the lamp then I'll have that too !"

think they come from a uk manufacturer to begin with , the name just isnt comming to me though .. ? They make them for the London trade in different types . if it comes to me i will post it

Each to their own, I hate a grippy recoil pad/butt plate on my rifles or shotguns.
I find it hampers my gun mount.
Probably too much of a traditionalist but I do love a silvers pad.
