I've had a few leupolds been ok i did have to return one to the states for repair but working good now! just remember its the time of year for plenty of game fairs! go to a big one, take the cash with you and have a haggle! they also mount a lot of them on stocks so you can have a good try an see what you like!

Doctor scopes are good, well made and good glass but normally not great value but this looks like what you are after

I also use Swaro and S&B and agree they are up with the very best, but loads of our US cousins shoot shed loads of stuff using the Leupys. And they are very well thought of by people in other parts of the globe.

Each to their own I guess. I'll stick to decent kit and advise others to do the same. Leupold scopes have poor light gathering and that factor alone makes them barely suitable for UK stalking when deer are often shot at last light.

Next someone is going to recommend an old tasco or a lisenfeld ........
