Recommendations for a 12g for sporting clays pls

I have been using my sec 1 1187 for this reasonably well
Have just renewed my fac and put in for a SGC so looking around for an o/u.
I know lots about rifles but not so much about shotguns.
Price wise around £1200. Used is ok. And I appreciate fit is a good requirement.
I shoot at Bisley a lot so have William Evans on site. Emmet and Stone not too far and a couple of others.
e.g Evans have a Miroku 7000 for sale - worth a look?
I am guessing that even the big names probably have models to avoid?
Probably looking at Browning/Miroku/Beretta any other brands?

Go somewhere where you can shoot a selection. You will probably find one feels and shoots better than the others. All the makes you suggest are good.

personally at that money, id be looking for a good miroku Mk-38, or even better a good 3800, fit is curtail, enjoy the ride

just make sure it is steel shot proofed what ever you buy, to future proof it and hold its value.

Biggest mistake people make is buying a gun that doesn't fit them. But this shouldn't happen if you go to a good gun dealer/gun shop.

You have named the big 3, handle them in the shop, perhaps see if they will let you try one as they are secondhand at your price.
