I need to upgrade my optics and have 2 models in mind for the scope and mono spotter having done the research for use on a 243 and .22RF. So everyone's go to seems to be the - HikMicro Alpex LRF 4K A50EL Digital Day and Night Vision Riflescope and I was thinking the NocPix Lumi H35R LRF Thermal Mono spotter. I am wondering if it is really worth having LRF on the spotter as well as the scope ? Also with so many scopes and spotters on the market, does this seem a good reasonably priced setup ? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

It doesn’t have LRF and I don’t have other scopes to compare it against, it I’ve found my very good value ATN scope decent.
They have models with LRF. Worth perusing the range.
After sales has been excellent for a simpleton like me who doesn’t understand / bother with tech particularly well.

Imo I'd say lrf on thermal far more useful than on scope. Although blackwood have alpex lrf same price as non at the minute.

For me Thermal spotter with scanning lrf is far more useful than on the scope although I have it on both and tend to use it on both. I want to know the range before i go to take the shot. If you I’m too far away i will want to get closer before shouldering the rifle. Would be a pain to have to shoulder the gun every time i wanted to check how far away the quarry was.
