I have been accommodating a small number of clients and close family friends for deer stalking on my land, located just outside Great Yarmouth on the Norfolk Broads. I am now pleased to offer these stalking opportunities to the general public and to fellow hunters interested in Chinese water deer, muntjac, and red deer. The ground holds a range of excellent animals—from trophy-quality to ideal freezer-fillers.

I currently have a good number of red hinds, some superb stags, Chinese water deer, and muntjac available.

Stalking can be carried out on foot with myself or from high seats, depending on your preference.

If you are interested in a tailored package or cull-only outings, I am happy to accommodate this as well.

Just a quick review after going out with Craig at the start of this week

So never been out and payed for a stalk before as I’ve been fortunate enough to have places in syndicates since I started staking
so really wasn’t sure what to expect but it was my early Christmas treat from the wife
All I can say is what a great guy really genuine and really knows his ground and his deer well picked me up as planed and then straight out to a field 5 mins from my place on the broads CWD and muntjack quick little stalk but no shot on and that muntjack was a cracker best I’ve seen in ages back to the truck couple of mins round the corner and next spot plenty of CWD action so 15 mins stalk with a couple of pauses and then rifle on the sticks and two down older doe and a young buck and we still had 11 stood in the field watching us walk up to the dropped ones
Couple of quick photos and dressed them out and decided to try for a red in the last hours light
So off to his farm and his neighbours sugar beat field and a group of about 25/30 reds right in the distance to far to get onto but more CWD and munties then 3 reds came out sand headed towards the others so we headed their way to cut them off I said to Craig once we get to 200 yards let me know soon as he did it was rifle on sticks and the rest as they say is history spiker down then off for the truck and get on with the business at hand
I really really carnt thank this guy enough for the few hours we spent together he’s great company knows his stuff and a good laugh too so much so my wife is booked in with Craig for her first CWD and muntjack next year already plus’s a couple of my mates too
if you do go out with this guy you really will have a great experience I’m sure of that
Wanted to add photos but it’s saying the files to large stupid I phone I’m happy to WhatsApp them over to guys if they want to see how it went
Cheers

I responded to Craig’s advert looking for a great experience and I can honestly say Craig did not disappoint in any way.

From the moment I arrived on his ground, it was clear I was in safe, knowledgeable hands. Craig is a fabulous individual, incredibly welcoming, and deeply knowledgeable about his land and the deer that inhabit it.

The numbers of deer were very very impressive including Monster Red Stags. There was no rushing, no pressure, just proper, ethical stalking with plenty of opportunity. Craig tailored the approach to suit conditions and preferences, which made the whole experience feel personal and professional.

If you’re looking for trophy quality animals, freezer fillers, or simply a top class stalking experience with someone who genuinely cares about what he does, I cannot recommend Craig highly enough. Superb ground, great deer, excellent company - I’ll absolutely be back and would encourage anyone considering stalking in Norfolk to give Craig a call.

An awesome time from start to finish.1000009080.webp1000007892.webp

Just come back from stalking with Craig with a friend. He and his friend Scott took us out individually, I managed to shoot my first CWD and a red hind the first evening. My friend was out with Scott and shot his first CWD followed by another a short while after. The following morning we met back at Craig’s on the hope of getting my friend onto a red deer. Craig got him into range of a red spiker and got my friend his long awaited dream of shooting a red deer. He might of knocked the wind out of Craig in his excitement slapping him on the back to thank him afterwards. Craig and Scott were fantastic company to stalk with and knew the ground really well and what animals were likely to be where. Many thanks from two very happy essex boys. Would throughly recommend him, plenty of ground with plenty of deer about.

I'm sure I've seen him somewhere before🤫

A fortnight before Christmas and my wife asked me what I wanted, I happened to be browsing Craigs ad and said I fancied CWD and muntjac stalking, so, a month later I found myself driving the 600 miles from north of Inverness to Norfolk.

I met Craig in Monday afternoon for the first stalk, great guy, plenty banter and a thoroughly professional setup.

We stalked some of his extensive ground on Monday evening and the first animal we encountered was a CWD, the shot was taken at about 135 yds and it dropped on the spot, a buck and my first CWD. Happy boy from the word go. Craig was determined that there was better still to come. We stalked on through the wood and I shot a couple of Muntjac. I was super happy having never even seen either species up until then.

Tuesday morning, we met early and headed of to a different bit of ground, plenty of deer about so in the early light we stalked into another CWD, after the briefest of runs it fell into the game cover at the edge of the field, a doe. We continued and came upon a large muntjac buck in an unshootable position. We tried to work our way in to it but it was not to be. Another buck presented itself and was dually dispatched.

Craig still wasn’t satisfied so plans were hatched for another stalk in the evening.

We stalked the same wood as the first evening but in the opposite direction this time. Muntjac everywhere. As we came out of the end of the wood there were a couple of CWD out in the reeds but the wind had gone round while we were in the woods and the winded us and moved away as we stalked in. I was more than happy with what we’d achieved but as we angled across the field, heading back, Craig spotted a pair in the next field. We were far enough round the wind that we were able to stalk in to about 140 yds. One left of the drain through the field and one to the right. The light was fading fast, which one to shoot? Craig said take the one to the right, Bang, Flop.

The one to the left stood up. Shoot it too said Craig, Bang flop.

We walked in to pick the one to the left. Another doe. Back along the drain, round the end and then out to pick the other one. It was pretty much dark as we approached the deer, lying with its back to us and its head turned away. We walked round it and TEETH!!!!!!!!!!! There cant have been a deer within 2 miles, the amount of noise we made at this point.

Craig is a smashing chap; he absolutely worked his socks of to get me what I wanted. Great craic and an all-round gent.

The following morning I emptied the chiller into the truck and headed North.

Craig is definitely the guy to go above and beyond to get what you want from your stalking, can’t recommend him highly enough. Will I be back? Definitely!! There’s still a big muntjac buck with my name on it.

Thanks Craig!!!

Just a quick one to say big thanks to Craig who took my mate out this weekend he’s had a really great time and will definitely be back down later in the year
he took two great Muntjack bucks and a good CWD plus a cull Muntie so a very happy chap 👍👍
