Reloading question on de-priming

The Lee Decapper won't work as it's .200" Ø parallel section, so really isn't 'Universal'.
The .17 Rem and .17 Hornet can only be decapped with a .17 FLR die which has a special size .170" Ø expander ball.
Some case brands in .17 calibre also have smaller than usual flash-holes which trap the Lee pin, and Heavy Duty decappers.
Finding a replacement pin is the only solution.
Well that ballsed my idea up then lol looks like I'm making or finding a new pin

I’ve got a Redding Small Decapping Die (Part No 69100) suitable for 22 -50cal but then I bought a separate 17 & 20 cal decapping rod (Part No 69250) for de- priming my .17Rem and .20Prac cases.

The Die box is marked up £16.92 and the Rod £9.46 but I don’t know how many years ago that was now… getting on for at least 10 I guess. 🤔
