It is that time of year again, and it will soon be that most harrowing and moving of days.
Mrs.S62 is almost evangelical on the issue. Every year.
This weekend she came in with a handful of Poppies.
"Here. Stick one in your Deerstalker". It was an order, and not a suggestion.
"I hope you didn't buy those off scammers'. (They exist)
'No. Off the Old Boys outside Waitrose. The are RBL, and are there every year".
I pin one to my hat - although personally I do not wear a Poppy until the 1st November.

My wife pins one to her Uniform, and heads out to deal with the plethora of issues that the NHS will throw at her and her colleagues today.
"They need to know we care" - as she wheel-spins out of the drive...
I then see this wee poem, and it made me rather sad. It is too 'good' to wait until the 1st November to 'post' it.
