Remington 700 Trigger snapped safety

So some time ago I bought a Remington 700 and when I collected it Somehow during transport the trigger safety has snapped off.

I never bothered and thought I’d sort this at some point. This rifle was for my son to shoot on as he was young at the time, anyway he never used it and preferred the bigger Tikka.

So firearms officer has told me I need to get rid of one to have a variation - the 700 is the obvious choice. So I need a new safety catch or second hand trigger ideally to get rid of it.

What’s my options?

I don’t think I’ve posted enough to put a wanted add up on here?

Ring round a few gun shops, its possible they have fitted a replacement trigger to a customers rifle and put the original one in a spares box

Keep an eye on Ebay , alternatively, message some riflesmiths and see if they've one they can spare . I know Kershaw keeps a few for when he sends rifles to proof , I assume from when people upgrade .
If you don't ask .. go local first .
