Remove Sight Bead from a B525

Tempted to leave it now, only wanted to strip the bottom bit to clean it, the diffuser is now clean, I’m assuming the bridge bit doesn’t get that dirty or need cleaning really. The only reason to strip the bottom half would be to change the bridge, which I’m not planning on doing. So after, many many swear words, skin off hands, and scratches to the tube, I give up!
