replacement stalking assistant

good afternoon, my stalking colleague has decided to retire due to failing health and I MAY think about a replacement for him at the end of the doe season. now my permission is given on the understanding that I take as many deer in season as I can BUT I must also remove as many rabbits as possible all year round,/,average 250+ at the moment. I am not looking for any one looking to start out stalking or looking to learn<sorry> but some one who is happy to help when required and does not mind lamping rabbits two or three times a week, must have min dsc1,insurance, full driving licence .deer legal caliber and .22lr and able to lift /help with fallow/roe carcass. no payment is offered but once fuel cost are covered a percentage of the game dealer returns will be given to help towards ammo costs <if there are any !> not open to fair weather stalkers and will be stalking only when I am , not on the ground at any other time. these are the terms/restrictions. and must be with in 30mins of ox11 post code. may not be off any interest to any one but that's what I will be looking for .

Hi Banus

I'm OX14 post code have a full driving licence, DSC1, deer legal calibres, car, thermal NV and certainly happy to help would you like to meet for coffee/pint to discuss further?

Best regards Steve

Joined SD yesterday and no introductory post as per site rules... Anyone would think you only signed up to take advantage on banus’s kind offer!

Now that’s what you call a stalker

Slightly off topic but I was using the internet earlier to research recoil pads and it came up with a whole host of incontinence pads and aids...

Good luck with your search:thumb:

Hi there, I am just across the boarder, in Gloucestershire. GL54. I am a 'young' retired, with DSC1, BSAC insurance, .22 Rf and a thermal for spotting. I am keen to get out and learn more, and if I am not the one your are looking for I am still available to help. Quite good at lifting and carrying, and happy to help out in exchange for knowledge. All the best, Andy.

Hi Banus .
Instead of faffing about with multiple stalks and after dark sessions ,I’ll come up with the thermal for a weekend and do the lot .
You can then spend your free time on here talking about it like so many seem to do .
pm me mate ,you know it makes sense .
regards FD

good evening foxdropper, very kind offer but I have had similar offer from a few game keepers locally, the pheasant season has not been kind so some are seeking for an income boost !!

I will leave the offer open until the end of February, so far no one is local enough to be of use to me but still a while before I look for some one who wants to start vermin control with some stalking thrown in, thank you to all who have replied.

Hi Banus I did reply earlier I'm Ox14 I'm 10-20 mins away

Nice offer. I’m 30 mins away but don’t yet have DSC1. Be happy to help out as hoc, even if mainly on rabbits but I’m running 17HMR and perhaps that’s too noisy for your ground?
