Reporting a drunk/drug driver

what's the thoughts on reporting a neighbour who's constantly driving while drunk and full of drugs?
Any info online suggest that if you report someone the police could remove guns for safety reasons.
I'm by no means a grass but this person is going to hurt someone or worse!

yeah i get that but what i read online says if they investigate it they MAY remove guns if they feel there's a safety issue, it's vague and i can't understand why they'd do it. just thought i'd ask a wee bit of advice on here, see if anyone has any experience of it

They MAY temporarily remove guns if there's any danger of repercussions or a situation developing between the accused and the accuser. I do know someone who currently has all his guns in custody, because threats were made against him.

my neighbours are nice, it's a quiet we area but this clown turns up to his mum's house 2 or 3 times a week out his tits, police have the details and reg number now

Phone the cops if you know the driver is well over the legal max . Drink driving is gambling with other peoples lives
