Hi all,
A little bit about myself, hmmm... Cue music... "I was born a poor share croppers son", "Not that far back", Oh, Ok. I've mainly been a musician that had to support that habit with many and varied day jobs, including but not limited to; A&P mechanic, Machinest, (manual not CNC), Armorer for the Olympic shooting team, various factory jobs including Inspector, Quality Control, Various forms of supervisor, manager,(never again), etc...
I've been shooting since I was 6. Started with a S&W model 17. Won the Markmanship award in Police Academy, (also never again). My love of guns goes back decades. I've had some real gems that I wish I still had. Ah well... enough of that.
I have a couple of Tikka M65s. One in .300 Winchester magnum and the other in 6.5x55 Swede. As far as me, I was a military brat. Landed in Colorado, not a bad place to land considering. The mountains offer solace, peace and quiet if you want to put in the work of getting up in them, especially in winter. No bugs, no snakes, no people. Ahhhh Current calibers include; 22LR, 9mm, 45acp, 300 win mag, 6.5x55, 7prc, 223, 12ga. & 338 win mag Sako L61r Finnbear. I'm into long range shooting, and a pushover for heavy barrels.
