First of all congratulations, you now have a perfectly valid excuse to buy another rifle and that is never a bad thing!i have the chance of doing some wild boar shooting, have rifles already max cal being 6.5x55.
i like the thought of an underlever to do this and maybe some woodland deer, but the calibers are limited.
so looking for advice on cal and rifle choices please?
If you want to go the lever action repeater route (and only real men use lever guns!) then as @stubear says, something chambered in 45-70Gvt or .444 marlin will do the job very well, giving you a great option for driven boar and are suitable for stalking too!
