Cottis realised pretty quickly that his knives and needles were getting in the way of his golf game so i put all my kit away to stop me making anymore@Cottis was making some beauties
I have made a few sets of these over the last few months which have been in use by me and a handful of other people to good effect. No issues with longevity and they seem a good solution to protecting optics whilst giving immediate, simple and more importantly, silent access to your optic when needed. They are like the bikini covers that come with many scopes but unlike those that tend not to be repairable when the bonded rubber straps break, these will just need easily obtainable elastic threading back through in the event you might catch it on brambles or barbed wire or something like...

They **** me off too and I play the stupid game.I'm literally salivating. That rifle is gorgeous! And it needs one the @Cottis covers. Definitely the wraparound with the leather straps. And so do I, incidentally!

It's stunning. And what a bargain!! I shoot a .270, and absolutely love the calibre. I download it to almost exactly match the .275, but with a 130 grain bullet. Just as you say, that velocity and weight (ish) of bullet is a joy to shoot. I'm green with envyThanks!
It's a beauty.
275 Rigby/7x57 is a very smooth caliber to shoot with.
Considering it's from 1928, it's a hidden treasure.
I was VERY lucky to find it for sale in the summer holidays.
14000,- NOK.
It's getting a lot of love from me...![]()
