So my current binoculars are big, heavy and cheap Usogood ones. Surprisingly good for the money, but... I've just sprung for the KUIU system that was in the classifieds yesterday, and my current bins will just fit.

Looking on here it seems the choice in my price range is between the Vortex Diamondback HD or the Hawke Endurance ED. I'm thinking 10x42

I've seen a used set of the Hawke ED for £99, which is amazing but they do look like they need a bloody good clean but at that price they could be worth a punt.

So, do I avoid the grubby used Hawke and go new? If new, vortex or Hawke?

Vortex.

Get a new set as they come with a harness.

Delete this thread.

Then flog the harness on here.

Thank me later.
