Rings for Lithgow (LA101) 17 HMR

Hello, I have got a new Lithgow LA101 17 HMR and I’m looking for some rings to mount my Pulsar Digex C50. I like the Leupold rings but struggling to find any, can you get a picatinny rail for the rifle?

Be interested to know others have mounted scope, photos will be helpful.

Yes you can get a pic rail, is yours a black or silvered action/barrel. I may have a spare.

mine in a 22lr version but the block is the same I think.

let me know if your interested, I bought a replacement direct from the states, a couple of years ago, and don’t recall who from. Stainless steel, not ceracotted.
Sadly my gun room/office is in bits currently so it may take an effort to find

I have just had a long run in with my Pulsar C50 on a Mauser MO3.
The objective end is large, and with standard 30mm rings the bulge below the scope fouled on the mount, and the objective end touched the barrel. I went down the line of fitting a picattiny to the mount and then rings, but due to the fitting of the rail being held by only two screws (front and rear) the weight of the scope was causing the screws to wiggle and it wouldn’t keep zero. Plus it was very high meaning my normal cheek weld was compromised. Eventually found some original Mauser lifting plates which fit between QD mount and rings, and it seats perfectly. See attached photo. The moral is - keep looking for the right solution.
