Watched a Buck chasing a Doe this morning, relatively mature, reasonable head, she was having none of it and eventually ran off full pelt barking with him in hot pursuit, if it was rutting time I'd say it was typical early rutting behaviour but not now surely? Has been unseasonably warm/hot here in East Anglia, so was he just confused,territorial or horny?
