Due to my impending move to Ireland and the fact that without monitored alarms you can’t own more than 6 guns (inc. air rifles) I have decided to sell most of what I have and then once there start again. They also don’t allow reloading in the south, so that’s all got to go too.

Before people start giving advice, I’ve been doing my research and even spoken to the local Garda. So barring me becoming (albeit temporary) an international gun runner there’s not much I can do.

You'll be doing very well if you are allowed 6 guns without a monitored alarm, better than the vast majority of firearms holders in Ireland.

You might be in for a surprise when the local Superintendent tells you what he requires you to have if you want to have 6 firearms in the house.
