My pal in Gillingham Dorset died in 2017 so sorry I have no reason to drive the A303.
Take a day trip to Calais/Dunkirk on a DFDS ship for £45 round trip to stock up on a booze run and it makes perhaps some sense? I am 10 mins from the Eastern Docks.

A booze cruise, that brings back memories of coach trips in the late 70's . Sadly I'm confined to camp at the moment so that option is out, thanks anyway.
