Sad day, my firearms into storage…

Good luck with the surgery and I hope all is . Can I ask why you’re storing your guns though? I too am recovering from surgery, unfortunately unplanned. I broke my spine in a cycling accident 3 weeks ago and it required a spinal fusion which was done the day after. Any way I can’t use my firearms for a few months but I am expecting a full recovery and looking forward to to the game season and hopefully get a buck before the end of the season.. if not I will be trying for a doe in November.

Jeez, get well soon my friend.

For me, it’s out of an abundance of caution. Elective surgery, whilst very safe, is not completely risk free and I feel better knowing my partner won’t have to sort anything firearms related out should things not go to plan. Even just spending longer in hospital than a couple of days she won’t have to worry about a gun room full of firearms.

Think positive matey and I hope everything goes to plan
I spent 10 days in BRI in west Yorkshire back end of last year and they looked after me quite well only because I made sure they did apart form two days when I did know if I was on this earth or fulers
I think they were glad to get rid of me in the end lol

I'm sure you'll be fine.I had 2 surgeries last year & a 9 month layoff from work.
Soon as I could sit in a jeep as a passenger I was out with.my moonboot on.
Don't let it hold you back, our sport & the countryside promotes healing & well being.

Hope op and recovery goes well. Bit of an over reaction to put your firearms into storage 😂 you’ll be home in a couple of days, possibly same day, and walking - they have you up and walking only hours after the surgery, bastards won’t even let you rest a day!
