Good afternoon all
I had a great "bonding" session with my new Sako Adventure .308 yesterday, we chucked a lot of expensive ammo at some paper, ranging from 123gr to 162gr in Hornady, Norma and Sako. Surprisingly the Sako 123gr gamehead held the best grouping with the Norma 150gr copper being the worse, anyway, that's another topic after another expensive outing next week looking for the perfect match..
I have searched the internet for a Sako specific bore guide as there are several stories out there that refer to most makes not fitting the Sako Adventure. The only one I can find is the Sinclaire calibre specific but, everyone seems to be out of stock! Are .308' that popular all of sudden!!
I have .223 & .243 shooting shed aluminium bore guides which are both very well made but, I have been told they are no longer being made! Is there anyone out there that can recommend a good quality calibre specific manufacturer please? I would rather stay clear of the universal guides..
Thanks for any replies..
