I am still looking for the ideal scope for my purposes and it looks as if the Sig Sauer Whiskey 5 scopes may fit the bill.
I need (want) the following in a scope : -
1. 4 - 20 (or thereabouts) mag with 50 or 56 mm. objective
2. 30mm. tube
3. Fine reticle with smallest possible illuminated centre dot.
4. Side parallax.
5. As light a weight as possible commensurate with reliability.
6. Brilliant optics in all magnifications.
7. Good or preferably lifetime warranty (which could be passed on to a new purchaser if I ever sold the scope)
Has anyone any experience of these scopes and if so how do you rate them?
The nearest alternative for my purposes (and which I ave actually handled) seems to be the Zeiss Conquest V4 but the illuminated dot version has no parallax adjustment. I have also looked at Delta Titanium HD scopes but they seem quite heavy.
All help/opinions gratefully received - thank you.
