Anybody experience with these? Are they softer and more flexible compared to Meindl Island Pro? A company here sells the new , in black coulour, for about £85. Not bad I suppose?

No personal experience of this boot, but scarpa footwear is great stuff......they look good, and uk prices are up around the £170 mark so your price sounds good......got to be worth a punt......

My first idea was to get the low model Diotto boots. ( Brambles) Light , flexible and 400gr Thinsulate lining. I noticed that lots of forum members started to complain about leaking. So, I had made up my mind in getting Lowa Mountain boots GTX as this SALE just turned up. 100 euro for a Gore Tex lined boot isn't bad. I don't know Scarpa, but only read good about them on this forum.
