Hi,
I have an S and B 3-12 x 50 on a .243.
I have been told that this scope was designed for 7.62mm (.308) If this is correct then the ranges and adjustments on the elevation and deflection drums are of no use as they are.
Does anybody know roughly what the clicks would roughly equate to (.243 drops faster than .308)
Is there an easy method of marking up the range and elevation drum so it works for the calibre. I had asked a similar question about marking before, and a very helpful bloke sent me an excel spread sheet to use. Sadly i am not an IT black belt and couldn't get it to work, so am looking for an easier foolproof method.
Even an aspiring gunsmith would could re mark the cap to what it should be now.
Thanks for any answers in advance and i will reply to all.
Lewis
