Schmidt & Bender - Bryant or A9 Reticle

The search goes on for a Schmidt & Bender fixed magnification scope with a Bryant or A9 Reticle......the 4-12 is a very very rare thing, ex-police / military....and even finding an 8x56 Klassic with an A9 reticle is proving difficult, most of these are Hungarian (not a problem really) but coming with A7 / A8 Reticles.....many hours burnt now looking....will probably settle for a new Hungarian 8x56 with A7 reticle and swap out when one of these rare beauties surfaces.

Can I ask why you are after a Bryant reticle? I had mine changed to a mildot at the factory and I find it much easier to use.

With the central circle you can acquire aiming points on moving targets more quickly......very unique to running dear/boar disciplines.....

Have you tried emailing S&B to see if they even did do the A9 ret on fixed power? (Alternatively asking for a list of which scope/mag combos they offered it in - as that could help focus your searches...)

Ok fair enough, but in the world of shooting real running and dangerous game, it’s driven game scopes that are used of course, 1x-4x. Some will use higher mag because it’s what they have, but certainly not what is best applied for the very obvious reasons
