Just acquired my first 22-250. I have a nice Leupold VX III 4.5-14x50, currently on my .223 and a Weaver V16, 4-16x42 sitting in a box.
I am assuming either of these will do nicely on the 22-250 but thought I’d ask the experts on here
I like the Leupold glass but prefer the 42mm objective lens rather than the 50mm. Also, I find the adjustable objective lens on the Weaver a bit of a faff..it’s quite stiff and I have added a caster to make it easier to adjust. Not an expert by any means but I think in the price range of the Leupold the Meopta is as good..Zeiss is in the same ball park…..both Leupold and Meopta have great warranties..not sure about Zeiss. Really want the the 22-250 for foxing, in daylight,..point and shoot…hence not an AO lens.
