ANT supplies or any of the net sites, don't go for the figure of 8 plastic type as they are crapA mate of mine wants a scope mounted torch with a red beam, any suggestions as to what technologies LED, Laser or other? Small compact, a dimmer would be nice.
Why are they crap ?don't go for the figure of 8 plastic type as they are crap
I found they moved, change your diet with the gout as the Uric acid has built up to such a point and being triggered by things you are eating. Why are they crap ?
Its all I use and no problem at all.
Mine has never moved it works great.I found they moved, change your diet with the gout as the Uric acid has built up to such a point and being triggered by things you are eating.
Fix it with diet not pills and we won't have to read you complaining about your gout.
It takes a while but just look at the list of what you eat and it will point to a lot of things.
I've used the figure of 8 mount for years. They do the job perfectly well. Why are they crap ?
Its all I use and no problem at all.
Tim He.s using on a centre fire, the Solaris is an IR, we need a red beam, not ir, Andy at ludicrous lumens does nice plastic mounts that work well. Thanks.ANT supplies or any of the net sites, don't go for the figure of 8 plastic type as they are crap
He needs to know the scope tube dia ie 25/30 but tbh you don't say what he is using it on as a .22 air gun is different to a centre fire re recoil
I use solaris srx and they work fine
Agreed. I find those clamps very good, on both centrefire and rimfire. Why are they crap ?

I can never seem to get them to point the beam where I want itWhy are they crap ?
Its all I use and no problem at all.
There is only one way they can point the beam, and that's where you want it!I can never seem to get them to point the beam where I want it
What I don't get is you spend good money rifle, rings, mounts time to get it right then use a bit of plastic to light up what you want to shoot.I can never seem to get them to point the beam where I want it
Direction yes, however height is a different matterThere is only one way they can point the beam, and that's where you want it!
Maybe if you're shooting at very close ranges I could understand that.Direction yes, however height is a different matter
Which is why I use the adjustable one and have the beam where I need itWhat I don't get is you spend good money rifle, rings, mounts time to get it right then use a bit of plastic to light up what you want to shoot.
Everything else is locked down tight and yet they will move if you get through a hedge
Each to their own but not for me, I have brought stuff thinking it will be just right opened the pkt and slung it in the bin lol
Always too high for me, and never seem that secure when tightened, maybe I've just been unlucky with my scope and torch combinationsMaybe if you're shooting at very close ranges I could understand that.
