Scope mounted red beam torch,

Each to their own but not for me, I have brought stuff thinking it will be just right opened the pkt and slung it in the bin lol

You're clearly a man of high moral standards.
Most people in that situation would simply stick it in the classifieds on here, with a glowing review! 😂

Apart from high end kit most is just carp, high seats are the best of let downs which are made and tested for R2-D2.
look at the whistling viper flex quad sticks (not cheap) :eek:

Everything else is locked down tight and yet they will move if you get through a hedge :eek:
Mine doesn't move at all and I can be out for up to 6 hours shooting piles of rabbits.

You obviously didn't attach it secure enough 🤦

I used a wicked light for years…. It flicks through red green and white… has dim control…. and can be dialed from flood to spot. Dam good torch that runs off the loved 18650 rechargeable…

@Freeforester

Following on from your earlier posts… did you ever try the Versa Bow with its adjustable beam?🤔

Cheers

No, I didn’t feel I needed the extra weight tbh, and nor am I certain the beam being even more focused would be beneficial, it’s already pretty tight. Of course it would be interesting to view, but there are also mounting considerations, and the matter of whether once you arrive at your preference for beam tightness do you tape up the head to fix it or leave it so it’s there to adjust - I find it ain’t broke already with the minima, so not looking to add yet another torch to the er, torch box!

I find that even on the low output setting ( there being low, high and (high) strobe outputs) the light sent is sufficient to illuminate the target.

Like yourself though. I’m interested to learn whether there is any great advantage to be gained with the focussable beam of the Versa, though I suspect not, or not one that outweighs 🤔😆 the benefits of the simpler, much lighter and smaller Minima Bow.
