I am looking at buying a vortex 6.5x2050 viper scope has anybody got any info for me

I think you need to by a new one as the old models had problems with vertical tracking.This has been acknowledged by Scott at Vortex and I believe that all new models have had this problem sorted.
Models older than 2010 had this problem.
