Sellers backing out on sales

Must admit the only bother ive had on here is replying to wanted ads, folks just vanish.

Two years ago I rang a bloke about a Zeiss scope, on phone I was getting his details for a direct deposit and he advised that his ph was ringing again..I said " **** him lets get the deal done" which we did.
Anyway he rang me back and said that the other caller was a pro dealer and had offered him an extra $200 for the 'sold scope'
As the seller then said to me " I told him no as I had already sold it to you and my word counts"

What a champion eh especially in these times.

One issue is the deletion of ads. This should not be allowed. I bought a seater and when I went to use it, it was defective. The seller had deleted his ad. Sellers deleting ads should be banned.

Only two sellers I have ever had issues with have both been trade members (shops/distributors) both let me down, you just have to move on, big picture they never get sales from you, your friends or family, very short sited. All private sellers and buyer have been 100%.

I’ve only had one issue on here despite doing lots of trades, buys and sales. Comms were difficult and the package arrived torn with the contents gone - poor packaging given the nature of the item. Stone walled - entirely my problem
