Serbia Driven Boar Trip...........................

Got back on Friday, from 4 days driven hunting in Serbia, organized by Mark from A1 Decoy.

What a CRACKING trip. Great group to hunt with, excellent accommodation, organization, loads of boar, and in the snow too 👍

The hunting was pretty tough, in the forest, on tight rides, whilst snowing, and very dull light. Thank goodness for snow on the ground, to help see the boar.

10 hunters, total of "117" boar shot, and recovered, with a few more expected to be found 👍

God it's addictive

Were you in a lucky spot Mark or was it the other Mark's turn to be the lucky one ?

Eddy,

I did ok, I think 14, after they found a couple I knew I’d hit, both keilers, one a 21cm Bronze, and they recovered another, but yet to hear how big. But I could see it’s teeth sticking out, as I shot it.

Everyone shot several.

Glad you had a great time Mark and yes I agree Mark Curtis puts on a good trip and works hard to ensure things go to plan. I hope to join you in Turkey or Serbia again next season.

May I ask the (rough) costs?

Also, what firearm did you use?

This particular trip was £3700.00 + flight. On the more expensive side, but, there were plenty of boar there !

Personally, I shoot a 9.3x62, 232gr, but there was at least one guy using a 270/130gr. It does require a degree more accuracy, which most of us don't have, and he did find he needed more than one shot...................................

But so did I, on occasion  😂

Wets my appetite for the trip to turkey this February !
A few of my friends were on that trip to sebia and all said it was a fantastic trip and very well organised by mark at A1DECOY

Everyone needs a bit of luck sometimes 🙄

Very true, you can only shoot what shows itself.

Couple from Serbia this year, one from a trip back in October. I’m waiting to see one that was recovered after, visually, the teeth were bigger than the bronze !

Small, just 12cm

Much better, 20cm, but a little skinny

And the bronze, 21cm
