May I ask whst is the big deal with shooting goats I've goats on 2 of my sporting leases close to 80 on one with some very big heads although in the last 4 years I've shot 2 with friends I never bothered shooting them these are wild goats once they see you there gone just a curious question is all really I'd pass them by
Nope, if we’re talking Jamaican it’s most definitely Curry Goat and it’s one of my favourites.… it’s “Curried Goat”
For some people it's part of getting their "UK 8" (6x deer species + goat + boar).
For others it's another interesting head to add to the collection.
There's also novelty value, as goat opportunities don't crop up very often.
Here in North Wales, where we lack significant deer populations, the goats are a worthwhile quarry, and can at times be challenging.
For me, hunting goats takes me into some very interesting wild places that I wouldn't otherwise have access to.

Never seen a wild goat in the uK so I would like to have one on the wall but also lived in sarf London for a while and had some good goat. My Jamaican mate up here always says we should cook on up. Tried to explain its probably not going to work out like he expects haha.

I suppose its that same as me been from Ireland we don't have roe or muntjack and there a bucket list deer for us
