Shooterking heated vest.

Hi All, decided to treat myself to a heated vest for this coming winter, and the Shooterking is on my list, does any member of the forum use one and if so what are your thoughts,, Thanks Geoff.

I haven’t got the shooterking best, but I do have an Amazon one that I have been wearing for 3 years now. I swear by it and wear it on the motorbike, out shooting, sitting outside the pub, when it gets chilly. Did I mention I feel the cold.
If it uses the usb power packs then it will be brilliant. Just wear a wicking T-shirt underneath. Most of the time if you have a fleece over the top you should be able to use it at the lowest setting.
I am still wearing the original shooterking trousers, so their quality is good.
I did buy the shooterking heated T-shirt and thermal base leggings but haven’t had a chance to use them yet. Ask me in the winter.

I also have the cheap chinese/Amazon one - with a power pack - it’s like a warm cuddle on a cold day! It has heating panels in the collar and back and breast areas….

Us Creedmoor owners like cuddles…

I've got one, been using it over the last winter and pretty much live in it to be honest. Only thing it doesn't have that I would like is a chest pocket, but that's just a small niggle.

Works well, the heating panels are on the back, but the warmth spreads around nicely when it's under another jacket. There is a small velcro pouch in the left pocket where your power bank connects, the connector I found isn't the tightest, so can work loose when walking around. Also if your power bank is too large then it won't fit in the pouch either, so will just have to sit in the pocket itself.

I managed to get it on sale for about £80 and despite the little issues I'm very happy with it.

Doesn’t matter on the make, just buy one. You will not regret it. I use my cheapie Amazon one regularly, and have started using the heated shooterking T-shirt and leggings. They are not quite as comfortable, but fine and use less power as the heat doesn’t have as far to get to you.

Heated jackets are a no brainer. The only thing is how much you want to spend As they vary from £30 to £130 plus.
