Shooting bench

Afternoon - I’ve been gifted an old office desk that I’m intending to cut down into a shooting bench for zero sessions.
Can anyone recommend some sturdy adjustable legs that can be fitted to it. Preferably ones that can be easily removed and refitted to make storage easier.
I’m intending to make it three legged as that’s always easiest to make level and should be sturdy enough.

I bought and fitted a folding saw horse from Machine Mart approx £26 two legs up front two at the back does the job and they fold length ways under the bench with carry handle .

A friend has one of these, from Caldwell.

It is a bit heavy (for transporting) but it beats leaning on the hood of the truck, when trying to produce consistency of shot doing load development.

Although he was always willing to turn out when I needed it, the embarrassment of repeatedly asking him to do so, finally wore me down.

Mine arrived yesterday. 🤑

I use a Black & Decker workmate with a ply top clamped in position, mostly set it up in the back of a VW Transporter with a garden chair to sit on for sighting in/ zeroing purposes.
Rock solid with a couple of bags/bipod.

I do use one of these and they’re very good. However when someone gives you a desk top FOC and the price of ply is upwards of £50, I’m going to explore cheap ways first !
I have a B and D Workmate so I’ll try that first. If it’s not good enough then I’ll move on.
thanks for the replies chaps.

Just clamped onto the B@D workmate would be sufficient, a foldable 3 legged stool and your good to go

Use with the fittings previously mentioned.

Ikea do substantial telescopic legs - they were about £10 each but certain to have gone up since. I used 3 on my bench - very solid and heavy duty.
