Got a load of of Rifle shooter, sporting shooter and the odd Shooting times magazines from the last few years if anyone wants. Be a shame to bin.

Free to collect from Glasgow

I had a load of target gun , guns n ammo etc we burnt them this week going back to the 80's felt it was time to clear out the shed along with birthday cards and box's of old photos ,got to think of the crap the lad will have to clear out lol

i did that once at my doctors with som guns &ammo, i went in the next day and they were gone i asked at the reception had they binned them and they said no one of the doctors took them home? bs

I leave them at my dentist too. It lets others that own guns or have family or friends that do that they are not alone. And that is important. That we are normal people that like everybody else do, yes, go to the doctor, go to the dentist and etc. and take the bus and use the train.

i used to subscribe to varmint hunter magazine an american mag, that i thought was the best shooting magazine ever, i think it went bust?it was the best read ever, any american friends on here can tell you. bs.

Picked up many years worth of Shooting Times dating back to the early sixties last week, on working my way through them l have come across some old Penthouse and Razzle magazines from the early eighties.
Maybe l should leave those in the doctors waiting room next time/if l can get an appointment.

Still have my copies from the early publications until early c2004. It was an insight into an alternative hunting life with rifles and at a time when a greater concern for rifle accuracy was gaining real momentum.

I actually preffred "Small Calibre News" and still have a number of copies including issue No1 singed by Tod Kindler.

yes wow, ive a load of them as well, small calibre news great mags, i might dig em all out and start reading them all over, these two magazine hold a wealth of knowledge, this is where you learned things about reloading and shooting, before all this interwebbing thing, you had to write letters and post them and have conversations with people, now your a gunsmith because you watched a vidio online for ten minutes on youtube hey ho bs.

Yeah, I bet the doctor takes those home too ! ;)

And I thought I was the only Brit buying and hoarding Varmint Hunter and 'Small Caliber News' magazines in the 90's!

I used to leave old mags at the Docs but then they refused to take them due them being unhygenic and potentially spreading disesals....

Might have been better to recycle them in a paper bank where they'd have been turned into cardboard boxes otherwise you risk having Greta turn up on your doorstep...
