Shooting Shed bore guide

Hi guys.

I'm looking for a bore guide for a Sako 75 and see the one The Shooting Shed have. What are your opinions on them?

And if you could recommend a guide for a weihrauch hw66 too?

Thanks

They're ok if a little pricy and they are machined to fit really snugly into the chamber with an o-ring seal. Have two now. Only thing is that once the barrel is good and clean you sometimes get some grey showing on the patches which is oxidised aluminium from the bore guide. HPS do a similar one using machined Delrin for around half the price.

I can't see a sako fitment on the HPS page.
Any place I'd seen a possum hollow guide wouldn't ship to Ireland so maybe a message to Moray might have success. Thanks guys

I have one from Shooting Shed. Very nicely made and finished, and works as intended.

I have no other to compare with it.

Delrin sounds like a good material for one, but the Aluminium/"O" ring system seems fine.

the O-rings are always too far back on these
allowing fluids back up the outside for the first 1/2" or so
would like one with an Oring right at the end!

Andy from Moray contacted me and he's looking into it. Between Moray, HPS and The Shed there seems to be plenty of options. Thanks guys.
