Country based show at the NEC - doesn't quite fit the image for me. Been once and never again. Someone will re-invent Stoneleigh and we will all go again. Hopefully it will be with the original intention and not to fill shareholders pockets. Lets face it there is plenty of crafty stuff which could be offered as well as a proper (cheaper) 'gunmaker's row'. Call it a country fair and put shooting back into the country.

True but you got to get to Dortmund, hotel, taxis, food plus any purchases.

But NEC at 25 quid a day, plus 2cdays hotel. Petrol, food plus purchases is getting to a point I aint interested anymore.

don't forget you can now fill your car with duty free on the trip

You take decisions in life that make you, and you alone, think are right for you. i heard someone boasted on the radio about deliberately catching Covid. I wonder if he would advice his father/grandfather(probably about my age) to do the same.
The last time I went to the shooting show, it was so hot and stuffy, a likely breeding ground for bugs or all sorts.
