Hi, guys - a bit of refurb required on this mount! Shot by the King of England 1904 on the Glenquoich estate. Only ten points but of historical value. Will post the finished article when completed. Bill.

Thanks for posting this Bill, just spent half an hour reading about the characters that passed through Glenquoich Lodge. Fascinating reading.

Looking forward to seeing the old boy back to his former glory. That's the stag not Edward VII btw.

A bit like 'Trigger's road broom' ie needs a new handle and new head, but other than that, it'll be the same! Good luck with the restoration.

One new cape and using a modern form,a bit of Condy`s on the antlers and you wouldn't know it was so old.

That'd be Edward VII then. I bet the stalk wasn't very arduous! He'd have been a fat and very overweight old man by 1904.
