Shotgun reloading

I take it that's just on informal clay bale shoots and that you don't shoot on shooting grounds?
When you say informal clay bale shoots I presume you mean that I don’t shoot registered shoots?
I don’t shoot registered but the shoots I attend are permanent shoots and there are no restrictions on the use of home loaded shells unless you are in competition

The subsonic 12g I load are far superior to any factory subsonic load available.
with the decrease in speed you need a larger shot size for penetration and clean kills. I load 32g fibre 4’s as a rabbit load. 28g or 32g fibre 5’s for crow and pigeon and if I am after fox then a 3” 42g subsonic fibre with 3 or BB.
I use a single barrel fully moderated 3” Hushpower

For those wishing to start shotgun reloading then my advice would be look out for a secondhand press.
these will usually come with reloading components and bushings etc Along with a host of other bits if you are buying from a retiring reloader. You may even get a lesson or two as part of the deal.
in times of lockdown then it be therapeutic to do a bit of loading.......
