Shotkam or equivilant.

Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone has bought one of these or found anything similar to do the job?

The footage undoubtedly could help to tighten up on a few misses but does seem a right bit of moohla.

I guess I want to know if anyone that took the plunge feels it was well spent.

Pal of mine has a shotcam. He looked for ages at alternatives but paid the big bucks in the end. He's a decent shot anyway but it has improved his hit ratio, particularly on further birds. Having seen some of the footage he has taken of pinks & canadas folding up it is definately an aid. Seeing exactly where the fall of shot goes is enlightening!

I think I wanted talked out of coughing up for one!! But I'd say it would be of good benefit.
Perhaps not as much as putting the money into good lessons but... job for life

I have a shot cam, and am really not a regular with the scatter gun. It does exactly as it says on the tin, its a superb bit of kit and a great training aid. I had a go with mine again in early winter and it really helps me "see" my lead. With clays it makes them reasonably easy when you have a chance to review the same shot over and again. I really want to try mine on pigeons but with lockdown and not getting the chances i want, so am kind of unenthused about it. However, basically it does exactly as you expect and is a quality piece of kit. I would have one for my rifles if it did as well and had decent mag.

Just an update as I continue to play with the idea.... £50, €50, $50 off at checkout if you quote YOUTUBE as the code.
You are meant to subscribe to their youtube channel but I dont think this is checked to get discount.
