Having grown up in Zimbabwe big game/ trophy hunting does not have a huge appeal to me, probably because they are not that good to eat! Although the double rifle idea is something I’ve thought of since parting with my .375 h&h.Don't get
Spend money on something more useful - even a big double rifle then find a reason to use it in earnest

Eh! You don't sleep with yours, why not? I thought everyone slept with themFoxinmad,
Don't get me wrong, I love my AI as much as you love yours; I just don't sleep with mine.![]()

Andy, would you post up a photograph of the Coyote actioned rifle please, I would like a gander at itIf you have the money and inkling - buy
Having owned Aw, Ax weapons and used both for stalking / contract work they are capable and perfect for holding zero in any conditions
However - weight is the issue , especially if you are using the rifle for long periods - 17lb scoped would be the average weight with a 4-16 pm11 and lighter weight mod
I used mine quite effectively for several years - then saw the light, sold and built a far lighter but equally effective killing tool which I use today
Had I the inclination, I’d put the ATX action into a PSE e tac ans appropriate bottom metal but I honestly can’t be bothered - so bought a PGW Coyote Action instead and did just that
Perfect culling rifle, accurate as hell, robust and lightweight
You can easily do similar to a T3 and make similar - just as effective and accurate - not quite as robust an action but I guess you won’t need it for dropping out of an aircraft into a stalking area
Half the cost of the AI bit just as much fun - built a heap for guys wanting accuracy, weight , portability and modest budget
Andy, would you post up a photograph of the Coyote actioned rifle please, I would like a gander at it![]()
