cant see why there is so much hate for opinels i love them there cheap and i bet i can get one as sharp as anyone else can get there "handmade super sword of doom" only real problem with them is they will loose there edge after a while but i can still get through skinning and paunching 15-20 rabbits before this happens and that includes spliting the pelvis

My question is.....how much does it cost to replace a £ 200.00 knife.....

200 quid....so they are in the hole for 400....lol

You can paunch a rabbit with its own teeth just a nick in the soft belly and tear it open....far too many stamp collectors turn shooters lol

Bought an emberleaf last year. I like it but does the same as a havalon ect. Gralloched a roe with a pen knife last year as well. Just personal preference really.

Small Buck Vantage for me. Awesome edge retention and easy clean liner-lock. Perfect rabbit knife.
Gralloched deer with it too when I've forgotten my stalking knife.

Been out a few times with a bloke that lives for Ferreting and he uses a pair of scissors out of a real cheap 1st aid kit cost about 25p,They just work for gutting Rabbits.
