SIG Sauer are bankrupt

There seems doubt about the story anyway but Sauer rifles are part of the Blazer, Mauser group and they are not going broke

I hope you’re right. Sometimes there is ‘safety’ in being part of a bigger group with multiple brands.

It is a fact that Blazer,Mauser and Adair are part of one German owner group the plants are separate for each brand but all the barrels for all three brands are made in the same factory. A recent but strange acquisition has been them buying Rigby Rifles

Boss are owned by the man who runs these. I see no problem with it. Better that than the fate of so many gunmakers when owned by the now defunct British "Harris & Sheldon plc". Why was there no British middle market, volume made, over and under?

There is a rumour that Paker Hale made some of original Blaser R93 barrels

Even Holland and Holland is owned by Chanel now :(
I was up for a position of sales manager for H&H when they were going to open up a store in Munich, then Chanel took over and used the money assigned to buy some shooting estate in southwest England instead around 1988ish I did get nice letters and flyers from H&H for years afterwards though so they were nice about it.

I read this recently but I understand the Military arm of the business is to survive or at least supply parts for the foreseeable future.
