Silky Saws.

Planning to replace a worn-out bow-saw with one of the above. In particular the 'Zubat 330' model. Just asking if they are worth the money and live up to their 'reputation' ?

On the recommendation of a friend on our shoot I carry an F180 folding saw in the car .
Sharp as can be a fast ,fine cut .
Daves been using them over 20 years a Tree surgeon who swears by them atb

Yes it's a fantastic saw, it hangs on my belt as a back-up to the chainsaw, for a branch the thickness of your arm it is quicker to use the zubat, than it is to bend down and start the chainsaw.

I don't use one for trees but use the pocketboy I think it's called for deer sternum etc

I just changed the blade on my Silky 'Super Accel 21' after only dulling it by sawing a lot of roots out through the soil. I'm sure there are other good makes now-a-days, but Silky do live up to their reputation in my opinion.

I have 2x Bancho folding pruning daws and they are very good.

In a word, yes.
Just be careful. Not very forgiving on skin.

Brilliant saws, always keep one in the vehicle. Used for everything from fence posts to trees.
