An opportunity for someone who has a need to extract heavy carraces out of awkward places over long distances.

Simpson capstan winch in fantastic very lightly used condition a very rare find indeed.

It's been in storage for years and was used very little before that, it's the two stroke model with the Tecumseh engine.

I've checked it over and tested it on heavy timber it works just as it should, very easy to start two or three pulls, very high compression engine.

Comes with wire rope tether and user manual, ready to be put to work on deer or timber extraction.

As some on here already know I currently run a pcw3000 and this is as good or better it outpulls my pcw by 300KG, but I paid much more for my pcw.

I really like this winch but certainly can't justify having two of them so someone with a need will benefit.

I'm looking £750 plus post which I believe giving the condition is very fair no offers if you have the need and want it that's the price

Looks very nice, just out of curiosity, what does it weigh?

Good luck with the sale.

Having weighed it on my salter scale it comes in at 8.5kg bearing in mind that's with nearly full tank of fuel that's light.

Just out of curiosity I also weighed my pcw again near full tank of fuel it comes in at 10kg.

On picking them up the two stroke feels much lighter and the pcw a heavy lump in comparison, interesting it's only when compared side by side you can really notice the difference.

Makes me actually want to hang in to it in fact lol this will make it much easier to carry out long distances in the field.
