Thought I get a night out on Fox control before the weather gets really windy and wet.
Of on my favourite ambush points baited with smoked ham that we forgot was out of date.
Had caller set to various calls but nothing for a while.
In comes Charlie after about an 2.5 hours and I changed the call to rat in distress..he was interested but could more so smell the ham buffet laid out in the track in front.
He was taken cleanly @ 60 yds..stayed for another 2 hours till the rain started..saw another 3 but weren’t interested in coming to a safe shooting point.. left them for another day.

Thanks, Ken.

Hi Ken
I’ve got 2 of the same! Rico Rh50 Weapon mounted thermal scope.
I use 1 on my Remote controlling roof mounted jig for 360 * spotting and other on my Tikka.223.
Very happy I’m with this set up.
Cheers
Tich
P.S Shame I’m unable to post videos on here!

I haven’t give up on it, sorta like just holding back for a minute now 🤣🤣 as I know I’m not a recording person 😱

Good result mate
If you are baiting however i would suggest not using the caller too. The fox is used to coming to the bait - a call may well put them off as its out of the "ordinary"

Yes I agree with you on not using caller at the same time..but it’s not a very regular bait area…..only when i go to my permission i just take some left over food and place it in safe shooting spots.
