Skellerup Welly Sizes

Just received a pair in my normal shoe/boot/welly size and they seem huge around the calf and generally sort of ‘baggy’ in the foot.

Do these normally come up a bit large? Is it worth me dropping a size or is this brand just a bad fit for me? I’ve bought online, so don’t want to do unnecessary back and forth.

As an aside they are about the best made pair of wellies I have ever seen, so I would love to get a pair that fits.

They are a little generous in size but are an excellent wellington I very rarely get out of wellingtons till April around here.

Mine are a great fit both in the foot and calf. The foot is my usual size and I've got big calfs (calves??? ) so have the straps loose

Loose?! I had mine so tight that the gusset was overlapped and they were still too big. You must be a professional cyclist

Yeah they are a little generous, I'm a 10 and buy 10's in everything. But a small 10 if that makes sense. My farther has a pair in 10 and they're like boats on me. So I bought a size 9 and there's still plenty room in there. So I would try a size smaller.

I've a pair in size 11, my next pair will be a10, they're definitely big!
Really good wellies though.

Go down a size that's what I did, good welly have mine a couple of years and still no problem,

Foot size is spot on but they are really generous around the calf’s and flap about a bit when walking unless you wear long socks.

For anyone else’s info if you’re buying a pair, I went a full size down from normal. Could probably have gone 1.5 sizes if they did halves. Fantastic boots. Thanks for all your help
